VARTIKA RASTOGI is a student of English Literature at Hindu College, University of Delhi. Her passion lies in close observation of art, literature, culture and politics. She began writing at a young age, and wishes to spread the word of reason by working towards the development of ethical, independent and responsible journalism in the country.

Currently a Jijivisha Fellow with Arts for Social Change India, she teaches performative poetry to a class of 30 young girls from underprivileged backgrounds. She is also Editor-in-chief at Free The Verse, and curates for them their live performance showcases as well as their online literary and artistic catalog. She divides her time between freelancing with her thoughts, writing fiction, sketching, devouring books and trying to develop better-informed opinions.
